Caring for Perennials in the Fall

Perennials provide a nice splash of color to flower gardens, but are not winter hearty in Nebraska. Many things can be done to help them survive, such as, laying the plants out of the sun just after the first light freeze, let the plants dry, then place into a shallow box and store at 35 to 45 degrees.
