Entrepreneurship – Learn to be Visionary and Practical
For young artists hoping to transform the world with their music, it takes more than practice and artistic vision to succeed. They need to understand how to:
- Manage an ensemble
- Protect intellectual property
- Find funding for projects
- Structure a business
Instructors include members of the Chiara String Quartet, who are out there doing it right now, as well as business experts from the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship in the UNL College of Business Administration, and invited presenters. It was not that long ago that the Chiara String Quartet found themselves where CMI fellows are now. How they traveled the journey from students with dreams to artists living the dream is a story of special importance to CMI fellows.
