jQuery Upgraded to 1.6.2

Postby bbieber2 » Fri Aug 26, 2011 4:16 pm

The copy of jQuery included within the templates as WDN.jQuery has been upgraded to 1.6.2.

All template examples have been tested and appear to work fine. If you notice any errors please feel free to post questions/comments here.

As of today, our events calendar display is not functioning in Explorer but is unaffected in Firefox. Any thoughts?

What version of Internet Explorer are you using? Could you provide the URL to the page.

Our site is http://www.unl.edu/careers/ and we have the calendar on almost all of our pages. My explorer version is 8 and it is still not displaying today.

...

Just upgraded to Explorer 9 and cleared cache which brought the calendar display back into view. My concern remains our site visitors who are not updated, so any thoughts or new code for that calendar display still appreciated.

...

Actually, I take that back, an hour later it is again not viewable even in Explorer 9.

Thanks.

Could you empty your cache and try again.

I just checked the site in IE8 and see no issues.

If you're still having problems could you send more details on which browser version is having problems?

Still having problems on this. I went downstairs in the Union to see if it could be replicated on those computers and it could not. Originally I noticed the problem in Explorer 8 but now I can't replicate it in 8, only 9. On the machines in our offices that have upgraded to 9, the calendar is absent whenever the browser is opened. The specific version is just the basic free download at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/inte ... ts/ie/home

Refresh brings it back. Here is what it looks like when absent.

Stumped on this and it has never happened until the past Friday. Not sure what else to provide and would be happy to have you stop over to see it in action.
