Help placing graphics inside maincontent area, liquid

I am trying to use the liquid template for our website and anytime I place a graphic image no matter how large or small, the maincontent area disappears when the page is minimized to a certain size. Other elements are also messed up. Example http://www.unl.edu/careers/index2.shtml

What am I doing wrong? The same main content works in the liquid no weather template.

wow... I haven't seen that one yet.

It looks like you're header graphic (http://www.unl.edu/careers/graphics/cshead.gif) is too wide. I would trim it down to something less than 530... or to save on file size the minimum width needed to fit your text.

That should fix it...
