Calendar of Events

I have been working with the calendar of events, which is wonderful! I thought I would share a few things I noticed and some possible ideas...

1. Room Number doesn't show up on Live Calendar

2. Images don't show up on Live Calendar

3. Ongoing events don't show up on days when they are the only event

4. When you click on edit for an event it automatically sets to public and it adds a second "Location Info, Time, Room, etc..." it doesn't post anything just is there.

5. I noticed the RSS feed was a little off and failed to load but this week seems to be working

6. When I look at our Live Calendar on the left it says "Subscribe to UNL's Events" an it drops down RSS and ical Format. Is there a way to change this to reflect our college so they can subscribe to our RSS?

7. Is there a way to repeat or copy events?

8. When viewing an event, under the contact info the phone number is indented but everything else is justified left.

Hey Adam...

Thanks for checking out the calendar --- I've added the issues you reported into the bug tracker for the responsible parts of the calendar... and hopefully they will be fixed as soon as we have time.

If you, or anyone else, finds more bugs with the system --- please fill out a bug report so your request doesn't get lost.

We also need help with documenting how to use the calendar. A start of some end user documentation is in the WDN wiki and editable by anyone, just create an account and add in what you think is important.

thanks Brett! I will fill out a bug report if I see anything else...I am still getting used to how it works but it has come in very handy so far!

I think I posted bug report, it seemed to go through but here is what I am seeing in IE7 for the RSS feeds for the UNL event calendar and the J School Calendar.

Looks like most of them are normal except for a couple.... heres a screen shot

Thanks to Adam for pointing out issues in the RSS format. I believe everything wrt that have been fixed.


New feature today, images are now correctly saving for events:

Thanks to Alvin for adding this in to the frontend... right now there are no size restrictions.
