Form Information put into a Database?

I have had a request to get a conference registration on our website. We are on Frontier so I know databases are out of the question there, but does anyone know how to go about doing this? I seem to recall someone mention something about conference registration at one of the WDMs.

We aren't running any payments, we are just gather information. Any help or pointing in the right direction would be great!

Academic Conferences handles conferences for UNL and they have most of the systems already built.

Form elements can go in the maincontent just like anything else. If you need a database backend, you can either host your own, or use the PHP/MySQL server that UComm maintains (www1.unl.edu) for the Web Server Alliance.[/i]
