Help embedding quicktime move.

Postby caggens » Fri Sep 21, 2007 4:36 pm

I am trying to use the QTObject script that is referenced in the documentation wiki... but it isn't working.

http://www.unl.edu/art/GDmotiongraphics2.shtml

I am sure the documentation assumes a certain amount knowledge... and I am new at this, so help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Just looks like a garbled 'smart quote' made it in there somehow ---

This line:
Code: Select all
myQTObject.addParam("autostart", “false");

Should be:
Code: Select all
myQTObject.addParam("autostart", "false");

I think that fixed the problem, however, fewer than half of the quicktime movies in the file will play once they are put on the server. They all play when I open them locally. Do you have any idea why this would happen?

http://www.unl.edu/art/movies/

Our graphic design faculty want examples of student work in motion graphics on our website. The files are all different dimensions. Most of them are quite large. I am trying to figure out how accomplish this without having a long scrolling page of movies stacked on top of one another. Just something to think about. Let me know if you have a bright ideas.

Thanks!
