Photos for my website

Postby jcruise3 » Fri Jan 04, 2008 5:30 pm

I want to add some photos to my website and did get some from Graduate Studies but I would really like to add some that are more geared to my Department (Modern Languages). Anyone know the best place to get pictures? Thanks!

Try talking to Publications & Photography. Once, before we had our own pool of grad photos, I went over to P&P, looked through some of their photos (which now include our grad stuff, I think), and was able to pick out a few to purchase for my office's use.

Most of the photos we're using for Grad Studies are from our own grad-centric photoshoots with a professional photographer. Doing your own professional shoot may be overkill (and over your web dev budget), but if you talk to Michelle Howell Smith here in Grad Studies, she might be interested in including Modern Languages in our next grad shoot--not that I know when that might be, or how they decide which departments to include.
