Heya...! It's like fan-mail through the bulletin board.
There are two ways to solve this:
1. Use CSS to style the information.
2. Pull XML and display the details in any format you want.
The simplest way is to just use CSS to style the list of events you're pulling from the server. I would browse to the specific URLs in your web browser - http://events.unl.edu/art/?format=hcalendar
for example. Then use 'view source.' to get an idea of the markup you'll be working with.
With this information, you can then apply some CSS to change the way the events are displayed. For more information, see the notes Aaron Coleman added to the wiki regarding the way he styled the Architecture events:

Remember you can just use display:none; to hide things you don't want to display, as Aaron did with the #feeds.
