Forms to a Google Doc Spreadsheet

Postby beck » Wed Jun 18, 2008 12:21 pm

Does anyone know if this would be a viable option for those of us slaving away under frontier and want some simple event registration form collecting? As long as we're not asking for any real sensitive information, do you think it could serve as a decent alternative to paying for hosting a form on a MySQL server?

Here's the initial article - click through to see the various Google Doc Form info:

Ok, I've tried it out and it's really quite slick.

You can even just copy out the form code and paste it into the templates and with some more work get it to follow the form styles Brett put up on the wiki.
