New templates

Postby Guest » Mon Oct 18, 2004 10:19 am

Can you tell us what you recommend for the first step in the adoption of the new DreamWeaver web templates? Do you recommend that we start to try to use the "beta version" that's in development right now, or wait until it's more firmly established as bug-free? And where would we find this template to begin giving it a try?
Thanks.

The NEW new templates are still under development. We've adapted them to the Dreamweaver Template format, and are testing them.

As delivered, these templates will be table-free Cascading Style Sheets-based. That won't mean that you can't insert traditional table-based markup in them, but it will mean that they will be good for many years to come. We may need to have a transition class for those who want to move from table-based markup to CSS-P markup.
