Mobile template

Hi all,
At the last WDN Meeting, 10/12, the item "Mobile updates on UNL.edu - automatic redirect on http://www.unl.edu" was not discussed. I have received messages the past three weeks that the UNL Libraries mobile site: http://www.unl.edu/libr/mobile is being “redirected too many times” from iPhone users. The site has been functional since January 2010. I created secondary page which is not redirected: http://www.unl.edu/libr/mobile2
I would like to request some instruction as to how to properly deploy the mobile template. Thank you,

Hi Pat,

I think we've got this solved. Adding ?mobile=no to the URL should prevent the your page from redirecting clients to the mobile proxy.

Alternatively, you can deploy your content using any UNL template page, and the content will automatically be converted to a mobile friendly version at http://m.unl.edu/

While we're on the topic of the mobile template, can somebody change it so that Opera users aren't automatically forced into it? I know Opera's a small fraction of our browser hits, but having wonky site behavior with what's reputed to be the most compliant browser doesn't bode well.

In Opera 10.63 on Vista, when I try to go to any WDN template page in Opera, it automatically gives me the mobile version instead. At the bottom there's a "switch to the full view" link that does give me the normal version of the page, but then if I click in the body or nav to go to another template page, it dumps me back into mobile mode on the new page.

We have definitely reported this to the frontier managers. It requires a server reset. "opera" was added to the list of strings that were redirected to mobile version rather than "opera mini".
