W3C

Is the W3C function no longer available? We have several staff who validate their Web pages using the W3C and today it isn't working for us. The link to the W3C validator is in the footer on our pages http://lancaster.unl.edu

Thanks!

The link in the footer is not working because you web server is setup to deny requests from that service. This is usually due to some sort of robot blocking configuration that is too strict.

It appears that sending a request to your server without an "Accept" header, will result in a 403 response. While all browsers will send that header, many tools don't as they don't support content negotiation.
