Web Report to the Chancellor: Chancellor Perlman has requested a report of web site transitions. This report will be compiled and sent to the chancellor containing the unit name, and projected completion date. The coding group will be tasked with building a web form which will collect this information from web developers across campus.
Template Integration with other tools:
Peoplefinder - Brett demonstrated how to integrate Peoplefinder results into the content area of the page to prevent email addresses from being harvested.
UNL Calendar - Examples of pulling upcoming events, and small month widgets for display on your websites using the templates.

Comments Link: Discussion of what needs to be done with the comment collection system to direct web-related comments to the correct web developers. The coding group will be asked to develop the comment system to allow WDN members to register their sites to recieve the comments related to their sites.
Code Compliance & Validation: Validation is important, and gets your website closer to accessibility standards.
Importance of No Overrides: Aaron Coleman discussed why it is important to not override the default templates for validation reasons, and how to contribute back changes you need.

We also discussed CSS changes to more correctly style semantic headers h1-h6. These changes will be distributed shortly.
