N logo and UNL name at top of template

I had a template question for you. On the old template, clicking on the name logo in the top left corner sent you back to the UNL home page. I see this used a lot in other corporate sites as well. The new template 3d N doesn't link to anything, nor does the red bar that says 'University of Nebraska-Lincoln'.

Just curious what the thinking was on removing that feature. Granted, there are no visual clues other than the cursor changing shape that there is a link there. But I've gotten used to it from other sites.

Ahhhh....it works with Firefox, but not with Internet Explorer, perhaps?

Curiouser and curiouser...upon a little more testing, I discovered that in Firefox, the whole N image is clickable. IE, on the other hand, has the outer edge of the N as clickable, but the center of the image is not.
