Local instance of the W3 Validator

Postby saltybeagle » Fri Jan 05, 2007 11:20 am

Hello all,

Thanks to Ryan Lim and Ned Hummel - we now have a local instance of the W3C Validator. Feel free to use this for faster validation results.

http://validator.unl.edu/

The UNLTemplates.zip file has been updated with this new address for the 'W3C' link within the footer, and the default footer copyright has been updated to 2007.

Feel free to update your templates:

I tried to do a batch validation today and received the following message:

Code: Select all
This may take some time. Patience is a virtue.

Searching for sublinks now.
---------------------------

Validating the links now.
-------------------------
Now using the HTML Validator module...
Done!

Done.
Found 0 links.

Validity Address

This is the url sent in my queue email:
http://validator.unl.edu/batch?uri=http://admissions.unl.edu&revalidate=false

I know that I have some errors on pages, so this can't be correct.

Thanks!

Hey Seth, the address you enter in must be complete. It looks like you are missing the trailing slash on http://admissions.unl.edu/

Try this:

http://validator.unl.edu/batch?uri=http ... date=false
