UNL Template, header transparency problem with sidebars

Postby aboucher » Wed Aug 22, 2007 10:08 am

- Windows 2003 R2 Standard Server with all patches.
- Internet Explorer v7.0 with all patches.
- Favorites showing up on the left side of the window.

Activate any sidebar (history, bookmarks, etc.) and make it wide.
Display any UNL template compliant web page, so you have to scroll to see the right part of the page.
The right part of the header shows transparency problems.
Problem disappear/reappear if the sidebar is closed/opened.

I was able to duplicate with multiple browsers and platforms.

Is this a known problem, or a design feature?

This was a known issue and should be fixed now thanks to Kevin Abel. Sites on www.unl.edu don't have to do anything, sites on other servers should see the fixes as soon as they synchronize.

More information on synchronizing the template files is available at: http://www1.unl.edu/wdn/wiki/Mirroring_ ... late_Files
