Lightbox?

In the near future, I have plans on finding and tweaking some code to do "lightbox" (for reference, see here) style displays on some pages that I'm going to be reworking.

I thought I'd post here to see if anyone has done any sort of development on this sort of thing so I'm not duplicating efforts.

I will be using this sort of a system for displaying both photos and text from a page, so I'm going to need something that's fairly flexible (content of varying height that will incorporate a scroll, etc). Ideally it would be code that people could use in a gallery sort of situation or simply to display larger chunks of text on a page without taking the user to another page.

Right now, this is the one I'm looking at, but I think it will need some more modifications... Leightbox

Ive used the one from HuddleTogether. Easy to implement and works in pretty much all browsers! Just link to your JS file, and add rel="lightbox" in your <img> tag and your set!

I used the jQuery plugin called SimpleModal.

Once you have jQuery, it's really simple with a lot of flexibility (include content from a div, photos, text, command boxes, AJAX content, etc...)
