With many departments actively updating their twitter accounts with live status updates, a piece of php code that grabs and displays the feed for the supplied screen name would be nice. If it could be as simple as calling a function or including a file with the given screen name, people would use it. They could control the look with their own css.

Twitter supplied their own 'widget' to display feeds, you can customize a basic color theme for it.
