3.1 and IE 9

I've noticed in the 3.1 template with IE 9 that the tabs don't render at all when running in compatibility mode. The same goes for the "star" icons in the feedback box at the bottom of the page, and the borders of the zenboxes. To get those three items back, I can turn compatibility mode back off. However, doing that makes the text at the top of the screen (University of Nebraska - Lincoln) switch to a much larger font, pushing out into the "Guest" login button.

Will this be fixed before the April 10th date to have everyone moved to the new design? I've linked to an example page on our server below. It happens in IE 9 on my machine with both the templates on our server, and in the preview tool you've provided:

There is currently a javascript error in the template code for pages with tabs. It has been fixed at https://github.com/unl/wdntemplates/com ... f460070fb6 and will be rolled out today or tomorrow.

Thanks, I'll re-check the tabs in a day or two then. Is it still normal to have the heading text be so large, or for the zenbox colors/borders to be missing between compatibility and non-compatibility modes?

That was the code provided in the UNLTemplates.zip, for fixed.dwt. I just took all of that and put our .NET controls in places for the content. It has the body class="@@(_document['class'])@@" data-version="3.1" already in there...

If there's a need for another reference, I've moved the "fixed.dwt" file into our server, and just renamed it as an aspx page. It's still showing the same issues in the header and comment section:

I also just made the fix you suggested, changing the class in the body tag to "fixed", still showing the same behavior.

So, I don't think it's part of the template code, unless there's something that isn't triggering because it's an aspx page?

Unfortunately, it's still an issue, both the larger font in Internet Explorer 9, and the tabs not working properly. We have our servers mirroring the WDN templates every morning at 7:30. It ran this morning, but tabs are still showing up as a long list, rather than with the old functionality:

The tab part does the same thing in Chrome, FireFox and IE. What's the next suggestion? I didn't change anything in the HTML code for how the tabs are being generated, so that should still be the same as always. Was there a change in the base template files (fixed.dwt) that I need to copy now?

It looks like you're still not synchronizing correctly.

I just did a compare and it says that the files match. I deleted everything in the folder about five minutes ago and restored them from the direct download at the wdn.unl.edu website. Still seeing the same issue, and you should be able to compare the files above and make sure they match on your end as well. If they still don't match, I'm not sure what's going on. I'm comparing the two links you provided on my local machine, not the server, and they show as being the same.

That was the problem, many thanks! I've re-written the line for the colorbox code and everything is functioning properly now.

Been following this post. I seem to be having the same problem. I thought used the new colorbox code and it did not seem to solve the problem. (And the video box on the page covers the resulting colorbox so I tried just removing the colorbox code....hoping that would solve the problem. But it still is not correct. http://snr.unl.edu:9996/ I noticed this was a problem on the log in and out of Go.unl.edu too.

And our server syncs each night to get any changes in the template files.
