12/14/2005: Scheduling first formal meeting (text of email)

Hello everyone.

I'd like to get the first formal Next-Generation Redevelopment Group meeting scheduled before we leave for break.

Because I want all of us to be in a good mood for these meetings, I'm thinking Friday afternoons might be the best times to schedule them. How is everybody the afternoon of Friday, Jan. 6 or 13? At 3:00? Let me know if you are or are not available either of those times, and/or which one you would prefer. If late Fridays are just not going to work, please suggest another time. Best to use the discussion on the WebDevNet board for this so we can bat it around more effectively.

ps. I've gotten a response on my initial email from everyone except Paul Erickson and Dan Schmidt. If you gents missed the first email, let me paraphrase: can you commit to attending meetings and participating in development of new templates during spring and summer 2006? I like the idea of Friday meetings. Jan. 13 is ideal...and perhaps daring... being Friday the 13th.

We'll discuss/argue/conclude a few parameters that we need to get out of the way before we move forward. By the end of the meeting, we'll have a document with a few agreed-upon details that will frame the redevelopment process.

I'll get that distributed, along with a library of photos and fonts, to anyone who can't the meeting.
