UNL Content Feeds

To add a feed to the UNL Content Feeds system located at http://www1.unl.edu/feeds/, connect to the MySQL server on vigilante.unl.edu by using phpMyAdmin on ucommxsrv1.unl.edu.

Log in to phpMyAdmin using your username, and choose the 'feeds' database from the left hand drop down box.

Inside the feeds database, choose "Insert" to insert a new record into the table.

Enter the details for the feed, including the Title, Description, and URI to the feed. Additionally, note the peoplefinder uid of the maintainer.

Once the feed has been inserted, you can add details about the feed by inserting records into the feed_has_category and/or feed_has_media tables.
