WDN Comment System

From Web Developer Network Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

The WDN Comment system allows web developers to easily receive comments about their websites. Included in the footer of every template page should be a link to send a comment to the site's web master.

The default link within the footer is directed to the WDN Comment system.

This system collects web address information (with automatic referring page info), user agent (browser details), date & time as well as optional name and email address. Based on the web address the user enters, the system will send the comments directly to you or your team through email. To enable this, you must register your site within WDN registry.

By registering your site within the WDN registry, you will have easy access to all the comments sent regarding your website. Including, emails of the comments as well as RSS feeds of the comments.
